To prevent Ink Drop from Dripping during Printing [CARIG.CLEAN]

Ink drops may appear on the head guard plate of the undersurface of the carriage, which

causes defective printing or ink bolts on the media. Make sure to regularly clean the

undersurface of the carriage.

Cleaning Kit : Washing liquid (SPC-0385), Cleaning swab (SPC-0386),

Gloves, Goggles

• Make sure to turn off the printer before cleaning.

• To avoid burn, clean the undersurface of the carriage after the UV irradia-

tion device cools down completely.

STEPS :

1.

Touch the [FUNCTION] on the LOCAL

mode screen for leaf print.

2.

Touch the JOG [ ] or [ ] to select the

[MAINTENANCE].

3.

 Touch the [ENTER].

4.

Touch the JOG [ ] or [ ] to select the

[CALIG. CLEAN].

5.

Touch the [ENTER].

The carriage moves to the maintenance station.

• If UV lamp is lighted, the message

which ask you to turn off the UV lamp
appears on the LCD.
Follow the message.
