When the Printing Quality is Defective

This section describes ways of dealing with defective printing quality.

Deal with it according to the situation.

If the problem is not solved, contact your local MIMAKI distributor or MIMAKI office call for

service.

Lines/thin spots occur

Corrective measures : 1. Perform the head cleaning.  (

 P.2-29)

2. Clean the interior of the station.  (

 P.3-3, 5-6)

3. If dust adhere on the head path, remove it.

Large ink drop on media during printing

Corrective measures : 1. Clean the caps.   (

3. Remove dust on the media.

4. Remove dust on the table.

Media is lifted during printing and printing is interrupted.

During printing, media may be lifted due to the heat of the UV lamp, and printing may be

interrupted.
