Figure 2-11 displays a block diagram of the video processor and how it is
interconnected with other modules in the SC3200. It is a low power,
high-performance, TFT display interface. The scaling, filtering, and color
space-conversion algorithms implemented in the video processor are of much higher
quality than those that are used in software only video playback systems.

The Video Processor can select video input from the GX1, or the Video Input Port
(Direct VIP). The Direct Video Input Port is not implemented, therefore the GX1 is
the primary source of video input. The Video processor has an integrated color-space
converter to convert YUV data to RGB data.
The SC3200 video processor interfaces to a variety of TFT LCD panels. Most LCD
panels require power sequencing and an 18-bit (6-bit RGB) digital output. The video
output signals are summarized in the table below.
