Removing the RF Shield
Removing the RF Shield
This procedure describes the steps required to remove the RF shield and applies to
both the Workstation 4 and Workstation 4 LX.
See page 6-4 to remove the Top Cover.
1. Refer to Figure 6-5. Remove a total of five screws from the RF Shield, including
three at the front and two at the back.

2. Remove the display cable toroid from the clamps on the RF shield as shown.
3. Lift up on the shield to remove it. As you remove it, take care not to damage the
insulation on the display, backlight, or touchscreen extension cable.

SHOCK HAZARD
When the AC Power Cable is connected to the unit, hazardous
AC and DC voltages are present in the power supply. Always
remove the AC Power cable before you open the unit.
