STEERING WHEEL BUTTONS
Steering Wheel Buttons Operation
The steering wheel switches can be used to perform the primary audio operations
and handsfree operations. There are a number of different designs depending on the
model of your vehicle.
Volume Buttons

To operate the following, press or
press and hold the button.
• Audio mode:
– Press this button to adjust the
volume.
– Press and hold this button to
adjust the volume continuously.
• Phone mode:
– Press this button to adjust the
ringtone volume while a call is
being received.
– Press this button to adjust the
call volume while making or
during a call.
MODE Button

To operate the following, press or
press and hold the button.
• Press this button to change the
audio mode in the sequence shown
below.
– FM1 → FM2 → DISC* → USB*/
iPod* → Apple CarPlay* →
Bluetooth audio* → Android
Auto* → MirrorLink™* →

(Auxiliary)* → AM → FM1...
*: Skip sources that cannot be
selected.
• Press and hold this button to mute
the sound off or pause playback for
some sources.
• Press again to return to previous
volume level or playback.
