USB
WARNING
• The USB flash drive and USB connection cable must be placed where they will not
interfere with driving, or temporarily secured in a location where they are not in the
way. They could impede driving and cause a traffic accident.
CAUTION
• Be careful not to touch the USB connector or the terminal for the USB connection
cable with your hands or metal objects.
• Do not connect, operate or remove the USB flash drive while driving.
• Do not remove the USB flash drive or turn the engine switch to ACC OFF or OFF
when the USB flash drive is being accessed (playback). This may damage the
data.
• The USB flash drive may fail to operate sometimes when the connection method is
"ON".
• We recommend making a backup of your data in case you accidentally delete it.
• If the USB flash drive is a non-branded product or has been damaged, it may not
be possible to connect it, or the connection may be unstable.
NOTE
• MAZDA cannot guarantee compatibility with all USB mass storage devices
and assumes no responsibility for any loss of data on media players, iPhone,
smartphone, or other devices while using this unit.
• When the USB mode is switched to other modes and then switched back again,
the unit will return to the music file played last.

• Compatibility: USB 2.0 High Speed
• Capacities:
− FAT16: 32 MB to 2 GB
− FAT32: 32 MB to 256 GB
• Mass memory: USB mass storage class.
• Does not support USB hubs or multi card readers.
