Figure 68: Angle
Defines the preferred angle for various measurements.
Snap Toolbar
Defines the characteristics of geometries to be used for measurements (free, Snap
Plane or Snap Line). When defining geometries used in measurements, the Snap
toolbar is used to select the option for creating them.
Figure 69: Snap Toolbar
Free
: When this option is selected, points selected and measurements
taken are not projected on, or in relation to, a snap plane or snap line.
Snap Plane
: When this option is selected, a permanent snap plane is
created using the Define Snap Plane option. Therefore, all measurements are
made in relation to this specific plane.
NOTE
Selecting this option automatically accesses the last plane defined using
the Define Snap Plane tool. To reset the snap plane, create a new one
using the Define dropdown list (refer to the Defining a Snap Plane
Using Point Sets section on page 81 for details).
Snap Line
: When this option is selected, a permanent line is created using
the Define Snap Line option. Therefore, all measurements are made in
relation to this specific line.
NOTE
Selecting this option automatically accesses the last line defined using
the Define Snap Line tool. To reset the snap line, create a new one
using the Define dropdown list (refer to the sections below for
instructions).
Point in Coordinate System / Flip Coordinate System Dropdown List
Enables you to view the point cloud axis point and flip the X, Y or Z coordinates.
