Air Filter Restriction Indicator
During engine operation, the indicator shows the vacuum in inches of H
2
O and kPa. As dirt accumulates in the
fi
lter, the restriction increases.
When indicator gauge (A) shows a restriction of 25 inches
of H
2
O (6.20 kPa) and window (B) shows red, the
fi
lter
requires servicing.
IMPORTANT:
Over-servicing the
fi
lter element increases the risk of dirt
being ingested by the engine, and severely damaging the
engine.
Service air
fi
lter
ONLY IF
indicator (A) reads 25 inches H
2
O
(6.20 kPa) and/or indicator (B) shows red.
IMPORTANT:
After servicing
fi
lters, press button (C) to reset the gauge
and clear the red indicator from window (B).

Removing Primary Air Filter
1. Open the hood, refer to
2. Slightly lift catch (A) at side of end cap (B) and rotate
end cap counterclockwise until it stops.

3. Make sure arrow (A) lines up with UNLOCK symbol on
end cap.
4. Pull off the end cap.
