Connection on site
If standard sensor cable
SEC 15
is supplied, it can be connected by trained personnel on site. A suitable cable knife
is required to strip the cable. The female crimp connector
CLB 2
must be crimped with a suitable crimping tool
CLCT
onto the stripped flat cable and the shield connector
SCON 15/1
must be pushed between the filling material
and the aluminium shield. (→ 5.2).
Important note
When inserting the shield connector
SCON 15/1
make sure that there is contact to the aluminium shield.
A check with a multimeter is recommended (→ 5.3).
