Use a
TX 20
Torx screwdriver to fix the
SCU 835
clockwise with the four provided
4.5x60 mm, A4
fastening screws.
Attention
Tighten the fixing screws to a maximum torque of 1.5 Nm.
If screw plugs have been removed during assembly but are not equipped with screw connections, these
unused through-holes must be closed again with screw plugs. Observe the test torques of the screw
plugs:
Screw plug M25 → 1.5 Nm at 20 °C.
Screw plug M20 → 1.0 Nm at 20 °C.
Screw plug M16 → 1.0 Nm at 20 °C.
In case of non-observance, any warranty for the IP 65 protection is void!
Important installation note
For mounting the optionally to be used
splitted M20
cable gland for the insertion of an Ethernet cable
CAT 6
or higher, please observe the following illustrations.
Note
As a mounting aid for the slotted sealing insert, we recommend the use of appropriate spreader pliers for
easy insertion of the cables (
not
included in delivery).
