Instructions for use
SCU 835 / SEC 15
Attention
When mounting the connection box, use only the mounting holes
as provided.
Use only the supplied cable glands.
Secure all cable glands with locknuts.
Observe test torques at box / cable for cable glands:
Cable gland M25 → 5 Nm at 20 °C / locknut M25 → 11 Nm at 20 °C
.
Cable gland M20 → 3 Nm at 20 °C / locknut M20 → 9 Nm at 20 °C.
Cover screws → 1.2 Nm at 20 °C.
Do not drill any holes into the connection box.
Close unused openings with plugs / conical silicone plugs.
Use the accompanying seals when inserting glands and plugs.
Provide sufficient space for cable bending radius (
25 cm
for
SEC 15
).
In case of non-observance, any warranty for the IP 66 protection is void!

Mounting the connection box
CBO 15
:
Drill four holes for plastic dowels
Ø 6x30 mm
.
Use a hammer to drive the dowels into the brickwork / concrete as far as possible.
Position the
CBO 15
connection box, aligning the mounting holes and the dowel openings.
