On the mainboard

the relay positions are shown from the point of view of the function alarm/
fault for device in normal operation, i.e.

Display of the alarm and fault function:
Attention
Alarms and faults are
not
reset automatically!
Alarms can only be reset if the corresponding alarm criterion is no longer fulfilled. In other words, the cur-
rent temperature value
must be 20% below
the set differential alarm threshold or
5% below
the max-
imum alarm threshold.
Faults can
only
be reset, if the reason for the fault has been cleared.

Optocoupler outputs / RS232 interface
For special applications, two potential-free outputs are available at
P303
of the
SCU 835
. Alarm and/or fault informa-
tion can be forwarded to an external equipment. These can be e.g: sirens and/or flash lights to indicate the corres-
ponding information acoustically and/or visually (→ 3.17). Furthermore the
