Recording a video

There’s no need to change modes to start recording video. Both the

Capture

icon and the

Record

icon

are displayed on the camera’s

viewﬁnder at the same time.

NOTE

When recording a video (or audio clip) make sure that the microphone (located on the

left edge of the tablet) isn’t blocked.

1. Open the

Camera

application and point the lens toward the subject you

want to capture in your video.

2. Tap the

icon

(if necessary), then tap the

Record

icon

start recording.

A timer showing the length of the video will appear.

Tap the

Capture

icon

to capture a still photo while you’re recording

video.

While recording a video, place two ﬁngers on the screen to use the

dynamic zoom function (spread your ﬁngers apart to zoom in and
pinch them together to zoom back out).

3. Tap the

Stop

icon

to stop recording.

Tap the Preview image to view your recording.

After taking a photo or recording a video

After you take a photo or record a video, you can tap the

Back

icon

exit the Camera application, tap the

Capture

icon to take another photo,

tap the

Record

icon

to record another video, tap the Camera icons

(

Settings

Mode

Flash

, and

Swap

), or tap the

Preview image to view the last photo you took or video you recorded.
