configure a Lexmark Intelligent Capture port on a print server to use a profile that prompts.
Prompting profiles should be used only on client computers.

Only profiles associated with solutions created for software clients are available.
•
Profiles used with the Lexmark Document Server Port must have a name with 14 characters or fewer.
•
If the server is currently running a large number of jobs, then profiles on the server may not appear on the
list. Wait until the server is not as busy, and then try adding the port again.

These settings are required in order to report an accurate page count to the Lexmark Intelligent Capture
system, which may be used by some solutions. Additionally, if a large job needs significant time to spool, smaller
jobs can still complete while the large job is spooling.
