5. INSTALLATION
5.1 MQC-C (Option)
5.1.1 Removal of the Processor and the Sampler
Preparation
CAUTION
Before you remove the pro c essor and the sampler, you must do a short rinse.
1. Do a short rinse with the X-link.
2. Take the milking robot out of operation with the X-Link (page 6-1).
3. Open the multiple function box (page 7-11)
4. Remove the middle and the lower cover (page 7-6).
5. Close the ball valve ( 1, fig. 14, page 5-4).
Remove the sampler
1. Disconnect the sampler tube bundle (
5, fig. 15,
page 5-5) and the
power/data cable (4) from the sampler (6).
2. Cut the milk jar tubes and remove them from the milk jar and the
sampler.
3. Remove the tubes from the sampler and take it from the support.
CAUTION
Make sure no debris c an enter the tubes and the ele c tri c al c onne c tor(s).
4. Clean the outside of the sampler.
5. Put the sampler in a clean and safe place.
6. Cut pieces of the spare milk tube, long enough to cover the
distance from the milk jar to the tube connectors on the 6-folded
milk tube.
7. Make sure the tubes make a smooth curve and are not folded.
8. Connect the tubes to the milk jar and the tube connectors on the 6-
folded milk tube.
Remove the processor
1. Push in the lock plates (1) and (3) of the wall socket connector (2)
and disconnect the connector from the wall socket.
2. Cut the cable-tie from the bin-bracket and remove the processor
drain from the bin-bracket.
