Description and Operation

D-H023.0906EN

innovators in agriculture

Milking lasts in most cases 4 to 15 min depending on the milk amount
and the milk flow of the quarters.

Figure 10.

Operation of the pulsation system

4.3.2

Milk Transport

The milk is first transported to the milk jar and when the milking of a
cow is ready to the milk storage tank (or when the milk is not for
consumption to the M4Use or the sewer).

4.3.2.1

Milk Transport to the Milk Jar

Four separate, parallel milk tubes transport the milk from the four teat
cups through the robot arm to the MQC-II and (if applicable) through
the MQC-C to the milk jar. The 6 folded milk tube transports the milk to
the milk jar where the milk from the four quarters is collected.

The quantity of milk from the cow is measured with the weighing device
of the milk jar. The milk weighing system is connected to the PCB in the
multi-function box.
