8.8 Alarm System
8.8.1 Set the CRS+ to generate an Alarm or Phone Call
On the CRS+:
1. Select:
•
Main Menu > Settings > Alarm system settings > Detailed
settings per alarm
2. Scroll to the alarm you want to change with the arrow keys.
3. Push [enter].
4. Select the value that you want to adjust with the arrow keys (left or
right).
5. Push [enter] to adjust the value.
8.9 Support Systems
8.9.1 Test the Save-Life Switch
Preparation
1. On the CRS+, make sure a main cleaning is not being prepared.
2. If a main cleaning is being prepared, wait until the main cleaning is
complete before you continue this procedure.
3. Take the milking robot out of operation with the X-Link (page 6-1).
4. Open the multiple function box.
Test
1. Make sure the back-up batteries in the multiple function box are
correctly connected.
2. Push the test-button (
1, fig. 67,
page 8-15) of the save-life switch.
3. If the save-life switch does not operate immediately (the switch
goes to the down position (
1, fig. 68, page 8-15)), replace the save-
life switch.
4. Set the save-life switch (2) to the up position.
Close-up
1. Close the multiple function box.
2. If necessary, start the milking robot.
3. Put the milking robot in operation with the X-Link (page 6-1).
