Choosing a Lock Mode

In Lock with Auto Store mode, a measurement can run, stop, and store,
be cannot be paused. When the measurement is stopped, the
“Measurement O ” dialog box appears. Select
Yes
to save the
measurement with an auto-generated file name. Select
No
to cause a
reset without saving.
If your System Properties indicate an auto store prompt, you will be
prompted to change the file name and save the file. If you select
No
,
the measurement stops and data remains unsaved on the meter.

Lock with Manual Store
The data view defaults to Big Digit format and you cannot navigate to
other views.
A measurement can run, stop, store, and reset in this lock mode.
If you’ve indicated an auto-store mode in your current setup file, the
measurement runs and stores as indicated in the Setup.
Fully Locked
A fully locked screen shows only the padlock image. In this lock mode
you can run a measurement, but cannot pause, stop, or reset. You can
choose to fully lock the screen during a measurement.
If you’ve indicated an auto-store mode in your current setup file, the
measurement runs and stores as indicated in the Setup.
