Save As
. This opens the virtual keypad on the 831C.
Step 4
Enter a name for your Setup and select
OK
. Your setup file appears in the
Setup Manager list.

Tools
Setup Manager
.
Step 2
Highlight your setup file in the list, then use the top-left and top-right
softkeys to navigate and set values on the tabs as shown in the
following figures.
TAKE NOTE
Any changes you make with the Active setup selected won’t be saved
in your custom setup.

When you select a text field on the 831C, a
virtual keyboard appears to enter text.
This value will appear as
a filename prefix for all
measurement data files
saved using this Setup.
Enter up to 250 characters
describing the specifics of
this measurement setup.
The description appears in
the downloaded data files.
