Using Continuous Mode
In this mode, when the meter is powered on, a measurement runs
continuously and stores data files according to the Daily Auto-Store
value you set. If you set
Daily Auto-Store
to
Never
, the meter defaults
to your meter preferences for Auto-Store. If a measurement is paused,
Continuous mode automatically resumes the measurement after 5
minutes.

TAKE NOTE
At the end of the Auto-Store period,
the 831C saves measurement
record to a new, incrementally-named, data file throughout the day
based on the
Time (hh:mm:ss)
. Time indicates the time of day of the
first auto store.

If you want to store a data file each hour of the day beginning at 10:05,
choose the following settings:
