KT-Elektronik

9  Communication

The heat pump controller SOL3 can be connected to a building control system via an 
optional communication module. A suitable software allows to set up a complete building 
control system for process visualization and communication.
The following communication variants are available:
– 

Operation with dial up modem with communication module KOM232M

An automatic communication is basically only initiated in case of failures. The controller 
operates in an autonomous way, but can be contacted, read out and adjusted at any 
time via modem.
– 2-wire bus 

operation with communication module iCon485

– RS-232 connection 

operation with communication module KOM232PC

3 - optional communication module KOM232M
4 - optional data modem DataMod11
5 - optional ModBus-MBus-Gateway

Note:  

The  operating   software   can   be   updated   via   modem   or   cable   if   Modbus   is 

activated with CO6 -> F01 - 1.
