A
This is the vertical
TX sector in a vertical
swath.
B This is the horizontal
TX sector in a vertical
swath.
The
Horizontal Tx Sector
function controls the "width"
of the transmission.
The
Vertical Tx Sector
function is used to change
the vertical opening angle
in horizontal and vertical
swaths.
Coverage Plot
When you operate with
sector transmissions, the area
covered by the sonar beams
is limited by the chosen
transmit sector angle. To make it easier to recognize the area limits, dedicated border
lines may be added to the presentation. These lines are used to outline the sector. This
function is opened from the
Cosmetics
menu.
Cosmetics
is located on the
Display
menu.
The coverage plot for the Vertical view shown in the Horizontal view.
Cursor
The distance and depth of the cursor location is shown in the lower left corner of the
view. The depth is calculated from the current tilt and the distance from the vessel.
Markers
Markers are not shown in this view.
