The
Operation
function controls the operating mode of the CS90 system.
Normal
mode allows the CS90 system to transmit ("ping") through the water, and to receive
the echoes.
3
Set
Transmission Mode
to
Maximum
.
The
Transmission Mode
function enables or disables the CS90 transmissions into the
water. If you choose
Maximum
, the CS90 system will transmit (ping) continuously and
as often as possible. This gives you the maximum refresh rate.
The ping rate is normally limited by the maximum range settings. It also depends on
hardware limitations. This may be, for example, how fast your CS90 system can handle
the information from each ping, how fast it communicates with external peripherals, or
how long time it uses to save data.
4
Set
Tx Power
to
Maximum
.
Result
The CS90 system is now transmitting acoustic pulses ("pinging") into the water.
