Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance
Warning may not operate normally
as following circumstances. Pay
attention whilst driving.
䳜 There is inclement weather, such
as heavy snow, heavy rain, etc.
䳜 The rear corner radar is covered
with snow, rain, dirt, etc.
䳜 The temperature around the rear
corner radar is high or low
䳜 The rear corner radar is covered
by vehicle or pillar, walls etc.
䳜 Driving on a highway (or motor
-
way) ramp and tollgate.
䳜 The road pavement (or the
peripheral ground) abnormally
contains metallic components (i.e.
possibly due to subway construc
-
tion).
䳜 There is a fixed object near the
vehicle, such as sound barriers,
guardrails, double guardrails, cen
-
tral dividers, entry barriers, street
lamps, signs, tunnels, walls, etc.
(including double structures)
䳜 Driving through a narrow road
where trees or grass are over
-
grown
䳜 Driving in areas with few nearby
vehicles or structures (desert,
grassland, suburbs, etc.)
䳜 Driving on a wet road surface
䳜 The other vehicle drives very close
behind your vehicle, or the other
vehicle passes by your vehicle in
close proximity
䳜 The speed of the other vehicle is
very fast that it passes by your
vehicle in a short time
䳜 Your vehicle passes by the other
vehicle
䳜 Your vehicle changes lane
䳜 Your vehicle has started at the
same time as the vehicle next to
you and has accelerated
䳜 The vehicle in the next lane moves
two lanes away from you, or
when the vehicle two lanes away
moves to the next lane from you
䳜 A trailer or carrier is installed
around the rear corner radar
䳜 The bumper around the rear cor
-
ner radar is covered with objects,
such as a bumper sticker, bike
rack, etc.
䳜 The bumper around the rear cor
-
ner radar is impacted, damaged
or the radar is out of position
䳜 Your vehicle height is low or high
due to heavy loads, abnormal tyre
pressure, etc.
When the following objects are
detected:
䳜 A motorcycle or bicycle is
detected
䳜 A vehicle such as a flat trailer is
detected
