cob parts in the chopped
material
a) Excessive cutting gap
between chopping
knives and shear bar
b) Too low speed at the
cutting disc
a) Adjust the cutting disc
centrally
b) Increase the PTO speed,
keep the speed constant
at 1160 rpm
Intake drum belt slipping (see
chapter 34)
Insufficient spring tension
Tension spring as shown in
chapter 34
Main drive belt slipping
a) Defective spring
b) Too low a belt tension
a) Renew the spring
b) Retension the belt.
Observe the
measurement 83 mm.
Sharpening device vibrating
a) Excessive speed at the
cutting disc
b) Grinding stone too close
to the knives
a) Reduce the speed of the
cutting disc
b) Move grinding stone
away from knives
Discharge chute rotating
blocked
1 mm restrictor plugged (2
sides)
Remove restrictor from threaded
union on the hydraulic ram and
clean.
