UNCTIONALITY
The [BYPS] button can be used to reset parameters to their default states and/or set the faders to
exactly 0dB. To do this, press and hold the [BYPS] button, then simply press anywhere on the sensor of
the parameter you want to reset. For example, in reverb mode you can hold the [BYPS] button and then
press rotary 4 to reset the reverb decay back to its default value (1000 ms). The faders will be reset to
0dB instead of default values.
4.2.3.4 – [SHIFT] F
UNCTIONALITY
The [SHIFT] button does not have any direct effect on bypassing. It does, however, have an indirect
effect; it allows for resetting the extra parameters that are normally accessed via the [SHIFT] button, like
the Low Frequency in EQ Mode.

Here is an example of using [SHIFT] to reset the attack time of a compressor.
1. Enter EQ Mode by pressing the [EQ] button.
2. Press and hold the [SHIFT] button. Rotary 2 will go dark (it doesn’t control anything while
[SHIFT] is held).
3. Move rotary 1 clockwise or counterclockwise to adjust the EQ’s low frequency setting.
4. Press and hold the [BYPS] button to enter bypass/reset mode.
5. Press rotary 1 to reset the EQ’s low frequency setting to its default position.
6. Release the [SHIFT] button and the [BYPS] button.
Also note that you are able to do steps 2 and 4 in the reverse order. You can press and hold [BYPS]
first to go into bypass/reset mode, then press [SHIFT] to access low frequency.
