2) Select
“SNMP Version” to enable SNMP;
3) Enter "Read community" and "Write community" names;
4) Configure "Trap Address" and
“Trap Port” (default being 162). The camera can send exception
alarm to the management base;

Configure “Trap Group Name”;

Enter “Camera ID”, “Read-only User Name”, “Authentication Method”, “Authentication
Password”, “Encryption Mode” and “Encryption Password”;

Enter “Read/Write User Name”, “Authentication Method”, “Authentication Password”,
“Encryption Mode” and “Encryption Password”;
8) Click "
Save
" to validate settings.
Attention: Before configuring SNMP protocol parameters, make sure the SNMP server is
already equipped and correctly configured.
4.3.9
SMTP
SMTP means Simple Message Transfer Protocol. When an alarm is triggered, the system will send
email notification automatically through SMTP protocol. Configuration steps are as follows:
1) Go to
Settings > Network > Other Protocols > SMTP;

2) Input SMTP server IP address and port number, which ranges 1 ~ 65535, 25 by default;
3) Input "Sender" and "Sender Address"; optionally select "Server Authentication" and input
correct user name and password;
4) Input email topic; optionally select "Attachment" and choose attached file format, then the
email sent will attach the relative file;
