1) Go to
Settings > Network > Access Protocol > VSIP

2) Enter VMS IP address or domain name;
3) Enter "VMS Port Number", default being 5510;
4) Enter "Camera UUID" and "Camera Password". Camera UUID is distributed by VMS and the
password needs no verification so you don't have to enter;
5) When the camera is in NAT and needs to access to the platform by cross-segment, select
"Send NAT Probe Packets";
6) Select "Auto Networking" to enable function of auto networking. When the NVR adds devices
automatically, the camera will be added to the NVR automatically;
7) After finish, click "
Save
" to validate setting.
Note:
For the operations of adding front-end devices to back-end platform, please refer to the
user manual of PMC client.
VSIP protocol only supports registering to back-end platform of this company or other
SDK-integrated back-end platforms.

ONVIF
The client supports adding device to the back-end platform through ONVIF protocol, which enables
different network video products such as cameras and recorders from different manufacturers to
communicate with each other.
