10 Error messages and diagnostics
SERCOS III offers a series of diagnostic features via state classes and status / control
words. In addition, using the internal oscilloscope in the ServoOne a few other
diagnostic parameters can be displayed and observed.
10.1 Standard parameters for error diagnostics
Various standard parameters are available for diagnostics related to bus-specific or
drive-specific errors.
10.1.1 Error messages in state class 1 (C1D)
Error messages are displayed with the aid of the standard parameter S-0-0011 (state
class 1).
If an error is set in state class 1, the drive is shut down. The drive signals the error by
setting bit 13 in the drive status word (see chapter 5.2.4).
The following errors are defined in the state class 1:
