Motion control
There are five possible types of malfunction:
•
Mechanical malfunction
•
Power supply problem
•
Actuator malfunction
•
Sensor malfunction or
•
Control malfunction
Mechanical malfunctions are easy to identify because in
most of cases they are clearly visible. For this reason they
are out of the scope of this document.
In most cases it is good practice to check the condition of
power supply first. The trouble shooting related to the
power distribution is described in chapters 7.6.2 and 7.6.3.
Basically checking whether the power supply indicator
LEDs are on or off will indicate the condition of the power
distribution.
If voltage is not 0.92-0.93V check the
condition of the cable.
If the cable is faulty, replace it.
If the cable is OK, replace
EG200.
If voltage is near 0.92-0.93V, measure the volt-
age from TP7 (kV feedback from tube).
If voltage is 1.25-1.26V measure voltage
from TP13 (mA feedback).
If voltage is not 0.58V replace
R3810.
If replacing R3810 does
not solve the problem, re-
place the tubehead.
If voltage is 0.58V check condi-
tion of the ribbon cable.
If faulty, replace it.
If the cable is OK, replace
EG200.
