7.4.5 Error 12 R3400 IO2 board is not
functioning
7.4.6 Error 13 Configuration data was lost
CAUSE A
Communication between the main CPU and R3400
is not working properly.
SOLUTION A
• The Ethernet cable between the R3400 and the
internal Ethernet switch may be faulty. Try with a
spare cable and replace the cable if needed.
• If also errors 9 is shown, check the cable between
the main CPU and the internal Ethernet switch. Try
with a spare cable and replace the cable if needed.
• Check the internal Ethernet switch and replace if
needed:
- Appropriate leds are lit: each port having a
cable connected should have the link led
on.
- The specified voltage level is present in
power connector of the switch.
CAUSE B
The R3400 IO board software is incompatible with
the main CPU software. State commanded for ex-
ternal warning light is not matching feedback value.
SOLUTION B
Update the unit’s embedded software. Verify that
the versions listed by the s2terminal command
“login” match versions.txt in the software update
package.
CAUSE C
The R3400 IO board is faulty and therefore not re-
sponding.
SOLUTION C
Replace the board.
CAUSE A
Main CPU flash memory corrupted.
SOLUTION A
Recalibrate the unit. Replace the main CPU board
if the problem reoccurs.
