2 Measuring and configuration

2.1 Control unit service program

ON/OFF Optimized Feedback

Meaning: Turn the optimised feedback on/off

The command "ON/OFF Optimized Feedback" activate/deactivate the optimised

feedback function. The status is displayed in the status bar (1).

Note

This menu item is only for clinical tests and should generally be set to OFF.

Detect/Feedback/US en/disable

Meaning: Activate or deactivate detect and feedback mode. the Detect and Feed‐

back mode can be activated or deactivated by entering two codes.

These codes depend on the serial number of the KEY Laser 1243.

The activation codes for all KEY Lasers from SN 101 to SN 220 are listed in a table

in the service update "Exchanging the control computer starting software version

2.15".

Starting with SN 221, the codes are on a sticker near the energy measuring head.

Press F stands for the feedback code, and press D stands for the detect code.

If the KEY Laser is purchased in the USA, the sticker is removed during production.

If the codes have been lost, they can be obtained from the laser hotline if you provide

the serial number.
