2 Measuring and configuration

2.2 Optical system

▶ Screw tight the cable ⑨.

▶ Then begin commissioning in accordance with the setup instructions, starting

from the section entitled "Deflection mirror adjustment".

2.2.5 Lens coupling

Note

The lens in the input block is harmonised with the Er:YAG crystal in the Z axis. This

is done by a spacing ring that is made by KaVo specially for this adjustment. Hence

the input block and/or the lens can only be exchanged in the "Measure exchange

input block" kit Mat. no. 1.001.7692. The "Measure input block" kit contains an

Er:YAG crystal and an input block that is adjusted to the provided Er:YAG crystal

in the Z axis.
