Transmission check
If you want to check the energy at the output of laser handpiece P 2061, the trans‐
mission factor must be taken into account.
The transmission factors for the various light wedges can be found in the "Instruc‐
tions for use of KEY Laser handpieces"
The measurement is taken with a distance of 70 mm between the energy meter and
the light wedge at a frequency of f = 4 Hz
The output is calculated as follows:
Energy set at the display X transmission factor = target energy at the output
Example (Blue light wedge, 160 mJ):
160mJ x 0.81 = 130mJ
Clean mounted deflection mirror P
▶ Screw off sleeve nut ① from the mounted sleeve ②
▶ Carefully pull the mounted deflection mirror P ③ out of the mounted sleeve ②
▶ Carefully clean the deflection mirror with a Q-tip and a slight amount of alcohol
▶ Change the O-ring 0.200.6174 on the spray pipe of the sleeve ②
▶ Carefully insert the mounted deflection mirror P ③ into the mounted sleeve ②,
and screw on the sleeve nut ①.
▶ Check the transmission.
Exchange mounted deflection mirror P
▶ Screw off sleeve nut ① from the mounted sleeve ②
▶ Carefully pull the mounted deflection mirror P ③ out of the mounted sleeve ②
▶ Change the O-ring Mat. no. 0.200.6174 on the spray pipe of the sleeve ②
▶ Carefully insert the mounted deflection mirror P ③ into the mounted sleeve ②,
and screw on the sleeve nut ①.
▶ Check the transmission
Clean the adjusted lens
▶ Screw off sleeve nut ① from the mounted sleeve ②
▶ Carefully pull the mounted deflection mirror P ③ out of the mounted sleeve ②
▶ In the inside of the mounted deflection mirror P ③, there is a threaded ring ④ in
which the adjusted lens ⑤ is inserted.
Use the threaded ring key ⑥ to carefully screw out the threaded ring from the
rear and remove it.
▶ Clean the lens with a lens cleaning paper and a bit of acetone while holding it
against slipping with a Q-tip
