2.1 Control unit service program

Shutter/Absorber test

This is the shutter and absorber test

Choose OK to confirm the Shutter/Absorber test command.

The shutter and absorber will open and close alternately.

The switching time and feedback signals will be checked.

The test indicates the set target position ① and the actual position detected ②

Definitions

Absorber reset position ➨ swivelled in!

Shutter reset position ➨ swivelled in!

The term “swivelled in“ indicates that the laser beam is interrupted.

Swivel out absorber Swivel out shutter

The term “swivelled out“ indicates that the laser beam is released.

Error detection

1. If the shutter and/or absorber remains defective in the closed position, the mes‐

sage ➨ Position error ➨ Timeout error for the shutter and/or absorber aperture is

displayed under ②.

▶ Press the swing arm switch.

2. If the shutter and/or absorber remains defective in the open position, the message
