2.2 Optical system

Check lens surfaces

▶ Switch off the KEY Laser. Remove the hood and cover of the optical system.

Note

It is easier to identify contamination and damage to the lens when it is removed.

▶ Unscrew laser hose and carefully set it down with the instrument.

▶ Seal the fibre ends (1) with rubber caps.
