Technician's instructions KEY Laser III 1243
2 Measuring and configuration

2.2 Optical system

▶ Unscrews the 8 fastening screws of the pump chamber 5, and carefully remove

the pump chamber upward out of the KEY laser.

▶ Place the pump chamber on a lint-free cotton cloth.

▶ Remove the two flanges ⑥ and O-rings of the Er:YAG crystal ⑦.

▶ Carefully pull the Er:YAG crystal ⑦ axially out of the pump chamber with the

sleeves and also place on the lint-free cotton cloth.

Clean the Er:YAG crystal end surfaces.

▶ After opening the nut ①, carefully pull the crystal sleeve ② off the Er.YAG cry‐

stal, turning it on its axis.
