Device Object Instance (DE)
The unit is shipped to automatically establish the DE
address after the MAC address is established using the
rotary switches on the control. The default DE address
is 2300 plus the MAC address. Before setting the DE
address power must be removed from the control board.
The control only reads the address when the control
is turned on. The control has two rotary switches for
setting the MAC address
(see Figure B).
The switches
are identified on the control board as “Module Address”.
The switch on the left corresponds to the tens digit and
the switch on the right corresponds to the one digit.
For example, if you wanted a MAC address of 13 you
would set the left hand switch to 1 and the left hand
switch to 3.
