5.3.1 Date
This field specifies the current date. The date format is <month>, <day>, and <year>.
5.3.2 Time
This field specifies the current time. The time format is <hour>, <minute>, and <second>.
The time is calculated based on the 24-hour (military-time) clock.

5.3.3.1 IDE HDD Auto-Detection
Auto-Detect the HDD’s Capacity, and its parameters.

This field specifies the parameter of drive that corresponds to the
drive installed in your system.
“Manual” lets you set the remaining fields on this screen. Selects the
type of fixed disk.
Options Description
Auto (*) BIOS automatically fills in the values for the
cylinders, heads and sectors fields
N o n e No disk drives are attached

5.3.3.4 Access Mode
This field specifies the IDE translation mode.
