Maintenance and adjustment

Carry out the following tasks:

Wipe the batteries, smear the terminals with petroleum
jelly and check the condition and level.

Check tension of alternator fan belt.

Steering

Check the front wheel hub adjustment.

Transmission
And Hydraulic

Check the transmission/hydraulic oil level and top up.

Check the rear epicyclic hub oil level and top up (Heavy
duty only).

Change the transmission/hydraulic oil.

Change the rear epicyclic oil.

Clean the auxiliary pump strainer.

Change the auxiliary pump oil filter element.

Clean the linkage pump oil strainer.

Clutch

Check the clutch pedal free travel and adjust. (Note
running-in instructions)

Check and adjust the live PTO clutch.

Brakes

Check the brakes and adjust.

Check the hydraulic brake fluid level and top up.

Change the brake fluid and check the condition of the
brake pipes.

Every 2000 hours or two years whichever

comes first
