Attaching the weights
1. Hook the top of the weight over the
weight frame with the base of the
weight tilted outwards. Lower the
weights, put the studs in the hole of
them, oil all stud treads and tight the
nuts.
2. To remove weights, slack the nuts, re-
move studs, pull upward and remove
the weights.
Roll-over protection structure
(ROPS) safety frame (Fig. 30).
Warning
On tractors fitted with a ROPS safety
frame the following safety precautions
must be strictly observed:
1. Maintain the safety structure in the
correct upright position at all times.
2. Use a seat belt at all times and keep it
snugly adjusted.
3. Do not slacken or remove bolts, do not
weld, drill, bend or straighten a dam-
aged safety structure. To do so reduc-
es the protection it offers.
4. If the tractor is overturning, hold on
to the steering wheel. DO NOT leave
the seat.
5. If the top portion of the frame is hinged
down for working in a low building,
when raised to its original position the
bolts must be tightened to a torque of:
M16 Bolts - 200-260 Nm (148-192 lbf ft)
M20 Bolts - 420-560 Nm (310-413 lbf ft)

Cab heating and ventilating
system (Figs. 31 and 32)
The heating and ventilating system pro-
vides fresh air from the adjustable cab air
ducts which is drawn through a filter situ-
ated in the cab roof. Recirculated air heated
by the engine coolant can be directed either
to the windscreen or the cab floor.
Fresh air (outside air temperature)
(Fig. 31)
1. Open the vents (1) in the cab roof.
2. Turn the blower motor control (2)
clockwise.
3. Direct the flow of air by swivelling the
air vent bodies (1).
4. To increase the flow of air, turn the
blower to a faster speed.
