Note
A brief explanation of the instru-
ments and warning lights is given below.
Their use and reaction during operation
is shown in the operation section pages
32 to 34.
Tachometer (1 Fig. 1)
This shows engine speed in rev/min.
The tachometer also includes an hour coun-
ter (2 Fig. 1), registering one unit for every
hour worked at approximately 1683 rev/min.
Fuel gauge (5 Fig. 1)
This shows the amount of fuel in the
tank.
Temperature gauge (3 Fig. 1)
This shows the temperature of the
coolant in the engine.
Warning lights (4 Fig. 1)
Note
Some of the warning lights will come
on when the starter key is turned to the
second position (Auxiliaries). This is
to check that all the bulbs are live. The
warning lights will go out when the en-
gine starts. During night working when
the side lights are ON, the warning lights
for low fuel, four wheel drive and dif-
ferential lock will dim to reduce dazzle.
Engine oil pressure warning light
This red light comes on when the
starter switch key is turned to the auxil-
iary position. The light goes out when the
engine starts.
If the light comes on with the en-
gine running, stop the engine and in-
vestigate the fault immediately.
Air cleaner warning light (Dry air
cleaner only)
This orange light comes on when the
air cleaner needs servicing.
Low fuel warning light (6 Fig. 1)
This orange light comes on when the
fuel level drops below one quarter full
when the tractor is on level ground.
