Fig. 43:
1. Clean the outside of the steering pump
reservoir removing all dirt.
2. Remove the filler/level plug located on
the pump housing.
3. The oil level must be level with the
bottom edge of the hole. If not, add oil
of the correct grade.
Note
At the first Dealer Service (50 hours)
the power steering pump filter and oil
must be changed by your ITMCO. Dealer
Rear epicyclic hubs (Fig. 44)
Check the oil level in epicyclic hubs
every 250 hours.
Level must be maintained at the level
of the filler plug (2).
Change the oil in the epicyclic hubs
every 1000 hours, or every 500 hours if
the conditions are wet, muddy or ex-
ceptionally humid.

1. Place a suitable container beneath the
epicyclic hub.
2. Remove the drain plug (1) and the filler
plug (2).
3. When the oil has fully drained, refit the
drain plug (1).
4. Fill the hub, with an approved oil, to
the level of the filler plug (2), then refit
the plug.
5. Repeat procedures on the other side.
Differential lock (Fig. 45)
Check the differential lock every
500 hours.
Fig. 45:
1. Disengage the differential lock by press-
ing the pedal down releasing the latch
and allowing the pedal to come up.
2. Turn back the rubber seal to gain ac-
cess to the locknut.
3. Set the gap between the screw and the
end of the actuator to 1 mm. (0.040 in)
