Service
Removing Spring Elements
1. Remove drive wheel. See 6.7.7 Replacing Drive Wheel
(5–Screw Installation), page 53 .
2. Remove cable on motor: Loosen screws on shroud.
Loosen and remove terminal ends. Remove plug
connection.

3. Loosen and remove screw (4). Pull motor swing arm
(3) away from chassis until spring element comprising
compression spring and elastomer spring (1) can be
removed. When doing so, lift motor swing arm so that
rubber stopper is not loaded. This prevents damage.
4. Replace spring element (1).

Installing Spring Elements
1. Install parts in reverse order.
2. Grease bearing bolt of motor swing arm and replace
motor swing arm (3).
3. Place spring element (1) on top, lift motor swing arm
and push them further on until rubber stopper is
contacting stop.
4. Retighten motor swing arm.
5. Reconnect motor cable with motor. Note torques.
6. When refitting cable shroud and tension relief, make
sure that they are seated correctly. The union is
eccentric, narrow side is facing inwards.
7. Install drive wheel, see 6.7.7 Replacing Drive Wheel
(5–Screw Installation), page 53 .
8. Test all functions.

CAUTION!
Risk of Crushing to Hands and Feet by Weight of Mobility Device
– Pay attention to hand and feet.
– Use proper lifting techniques.
CAUTION!
Risk of Uncontrolled Movement of Mobility Device
– Turn off power supply (ON/OFF key).
– Engage drive.
– Before raising mobility device, secure wheels by blocking them with wedges.
– Prevent the mobility device tipping by propping it up on a wooden block which is long and wide enough under
the battery case. If the wooden block is too short or too high, the mobility device can still tip.
• 19 mm wrench
• Flat screwdriver
Oblong wooden blocks (at least 14 x 14 x 30 cm)
