Terminal Modes
A mode is one of several operating states used by the wire-
less station. Table 8-12 lists selectable terminal modes and
the action taken by the wireless station in set mode and re-
set mode.

characters replace old display charac-
ters at the cursor position. The old
character is erased.

Disables local echo. When the wire-
less station sends characters to the
host, the host must echo them back to
the display.

CSI 1 2 l
Enables local echo. When the wireless
station sends characters, they are au-
tomatically sent to the display.
* The last character of each reset mode sequence is lowercase L (6C hexadecimal).
