INSPECTION / MAINTENANCE
It is recommended to carry out periodic the temperature calibration at least once a year to
maintain the product quality and ensure the reliability of temperature indications. Also be sure to
inspect the product after use, and to keep the storage environment conditions described in this
manual carefully.

INSPECTION
>
Before and after use of the instrument at the field or the research lab., inspect the instrument for
no damage, scratches, contamination, and so on. The serial number of the camera, temperature
calibration date, usage hour, etc. should be written for later reference.
The manufacturing label is attached to
the side of the device (under the menu panel).

MAINTENANCE
>

Wipe off any contamination on the external surfaces of the camera using a dry and soft cloth.
·
If dirt is hardened, first wipe with a cloth moistened with a neutral detergent, then wipe again
with a dry cloth.
For cleaning the window:
·
Wipe off the dust lightly using a chamois cloth.
·
For removing oil film, moisten a soft cotton swab (or boiled and dried gauze) with a little
non-aqueous alcohol(ethanol) and wipe it lightly.
CAUTION
·
Absolutely avoid using organic solvents such as thinner, benzene or chemicals for cleaning.
These would cause discoloration.
·
Cleaning inside the product should be avoided.
·
Directly wiping the lens with a coarse cloth may leave scratches.
·
If water should put on the product, wipe it off immediately.

Store the product according to the following caution and “ Measures for Safety” of page 3 to 9.
