DATA – MAKE FOLDER
For creating a new folder:
(2) Use NEAR(Left) and FAR(Right) to move
right and left. Use H Temp(Up) and
L Temp(Down) to change characters. Press
CENTER to decide.
(1) Select “DATA” from menu and
press CENTER at “MAKE FOLDER”.
Notes
Do not remove SD memory card while a folder is being created. This may cause malfunction of the
camera, damage to SD memory card or corruption of saved data.
Folder is named as “100IMAGE” by default.
The maximum path length is 255 characters including the file name. If this is exceeded, folder
cannot be created.
You cannot create folders having the same name in the same-level hierarchy.
However, when you create a folder using the default file name “100IMAGE”, the numerical part of
the name is incremented by one (e.g. “101IMAGE”, “102IMAGE”) if the name is already used for
an existing folder.
The maximum number of folders you can create in the same-level hierarchy is 256.
The attribute of folders created is write enable mode.
Half-width upper-case alphabetical characters, half-width numeric characters and some half-width
symbols can be used to represent folder name.
Half-width symbols you can use for folder name are: “ ” (space), “-“ (hyphen) and “_” (under bar).
