Operation
6.1
Switching on the Device
ATTENTION
The shaker drive can start automatically if the device has not been
switched off correctly beforehand. Loose objects in the incubation
room can damage the device and the cultivation vessels.
1.
Press the power switch on the left-hand side of the casing.
The power switch lights up in green after switching on.
Once the device has been switched on, it will automatically run
a self-test. The letters “INI” (initialisation) will appear in the view
box on the right and light up briefly.
Once the initialisation process is complete, the
Power supply
on/off function symbol will light up. The device is ready for oper-
ation.
6.2
Loading the Device
CAUTION
If a vessel breaks at high rotation speed, glass splinters are slung
around the incubation chamber. When the door is open, the de-
vice does not stop immediately. Therefore pieces of glass can be
slung out.
To avoid injuries:
–
Do not open the door in a panic if you notice that a vessel
has broken.
–
Switch off the device at the power switch and only open the
door when the table stands still.
