The web server has a basic password protection to prevent unwanted or unauthorised changes to the
device settings via the web interface.
When the web interface is accessed, a status bar at the top shows if the user is logged in or logged
out:
User is logged in:
- Full access to device settings
- Full access to diagnostics and information data
User is logged out:
- No access to device settings
- Access to diagnostics and information data
The password is: CAFE
The password protection cannot be deactivated!
The password cannot be changed!

At the top of the web interface, the status bar displays the following status message:

Enter the fixed password in the [Password:] field.

Click [Login] to log in to the web interface.

The status bar displays the changed status:

The operator has unlimited access to all menus and functions of the web interface.
The operator remains logged in if one of the following actions is carried out:
the web browser is closed and reopened
the PC/laptop is restarted
AC142n is restarted
To prevent unauthorised access to the device settings:

Manually log off before you leave the web interface! (→
Disconnect from web interface

Remember to turn off the "Save password" function of your web browser before accessing the web interface!

If the "Save password" function of your web browser is not turned off: delete the stored passwords in your
browser settings!
