Click on the right of the Data Type field, then a pull-down list appears to show all available input or output data types.

Select a scale value (Ladder refresh type analog input modules only).

When Celsius or Fahrenheit is selected for thermocouple, resistance thermometer, or thermistor signal types on ladder 
refresh type analog input modules, the scale value can be selected from 

1, 

10, or 

100 depending on the selected sig-

nal type. Using this function, the analog input data can be multiplied to ensure precise control.
